Its always hard to put a value on a work of art as its specific to the buyer for the most part. Although a doll created by a more famous artist demands a a higher price, its not always the best looking doll in the case.

Its important to note that Authentic kachina dolls are made only by Hopi artists. There are plenty of other tribes with their own figurine-carving traditions, but the kachina tradition is unique to the Hopi. When you see Navajo kachinas, those are imitations of the real Hopi kachinas

The following hopi carvers are well known and their dolls can demand quite a bit of money relative to a novice or lesser known carver.
